Barombong Beach

AT this time, Barombong Beach is the very simple tourism object. But the Government of South Sulawesi has set this area as a leading tourism beach which is located in Global Tourism and Business area. Hotels, resorts, marina, and restaurant, soon stood there.

Location of Object 
Barombong located in the coastal village of Barombong, Tamalate District, Makassar City. Only about six kilometers western of Makassar city centre (Karebosi Field). 

Overview 
Such as beaches in Makassar, in general, Barombong Beach also has a beautiful panoramic sunset . Tourists can enjoy the scenery on the spread of white sand. This beach has good white sand. 

In this beach, there are much of fishermen. Because actually Barombong is a fishing village. They use traditional boat called jolloro and katinting. If you want to enjoy fresh fish from fishing boats just down from the sea, its the right place.

Regional Tourism Company of South Sulawesi has been agreed with the national private company to build resort, marina, hotels, and restaurants. In planning, there will be stood a beach restaurant. This idea is similar inspirationed from the area in Jimbaran, Bali. 

The early stages starting at 2009. They will build resort, bathing pools and restaurants. The next phase running until 2015. If there is no obstacle, in six years into the future, this area would become tourism object which good management. 

Access 
To access the objects is verry easy. You can use public transport, taxis, hotel transportation facilities, and motorbike taxis called ojek.
