Akkarena Beach Family Tourism

AKKARENA is a tourism beach with better facilities. Visitors can not only feel breezy wind while enjoying various food or see a beautiful sunset in the afternoon, this beach also provides same water games facilities such as jetsky and banana boat. 


Location of Object 
Akkarena Beach located in the coastal area of Tanjung Bunga tourism and global business. Only about five kilometers western of central city of Makassar (Karebosi Field). 

Overview 
Totally, Akkarena Beach tourism area is 10 hectares. Formally named Akkarena Family Tourism Center. The beach is so slop and the sand is very soft. After satisfied to swim, many tourists waiting for the stunning sunset. 

Akkarena has a dish gardens with 450 square meters wide. It is a Mediterranean-style building. Akkarena dish garden is located in the seaside with course of food and beverages, both local and international features. Also live music entertainment in it. 

Akkarena Beach also has a quay with 150 meters length and 5 meters wide. The quay is usually used as a place to enjoy the sunset. Also functioned as a tour boat docks. There are tables and chairs at each edge. Visitors can also enjoy the food from dish garden in the place. 

Some other facilities provided along the coast, such as oval plaza, water tower, children's playground, restaurant, bathing center, meeting room, clinic, and field for beach volleyball. Near this area, there is GTC Tanjung Bunga Mall. 

Or, if you like, you can also feel the cool play of jetsky or banana boat ride. Since 1997, Akkarena Beach has been providing a racing arena called ATV (all terrain vehicle). 

Open 
Akkarena beach is opened at 07.00 until 22.00 

Access 
Akkarena beach can be reached by car, motorbike, public transport, taxis, or motorbike taxis called ojek. 

Entry Tariff 
Every tourist are subjected Rp 4,000 per person tariff, Rp 2,000 to park the car, and Rp 1,000 for motorcycles.
